In a press release, the Peña clubs from Iruñea / Pamplona state that they have made a positive evaluation of the Sanfermin 2015 fiestas. The point to the absence of any incidents at the key events of the Txupinazo, the Procession and the Encierro of the 15th and to the positive attitude of City Hall since the recent political changes which have taken place. One such sign of a new attitude from City Hall was the official invitation of representatives of the Peñas to the opening Txupinazo event. They also underline the strong role taken by City Hall in fighting against sexist attitudes and their contribution to helping the different groups make their stance against sexist attitudes in fiestas.
In order to celebrate the final calendar step leading to Sanfermin fiestas, and taking advantage of the “Red and White” night organized by the commercial association of the Old Quarter of Pamplona on Friday 5th of June, we brought Mister Testis along with us in order to let the general public try out some selfie shots with him from some new angles and unusual altitudes. The best selfie snapshot would be awarded a T-shirt from the latest Sanfermin collection created by Kukuxumusu.
Today is the 5th of May and there is not long to go for Sanfermin 2015. Our particular way to celebrate this step on the ladder towards Sanfermin fiestas is by giving a foretaste of the forthcoming 2015 Kukuxumusu Collection with this Evolution Running T-shirt. This year sees the 26th anniversary of Kukuxumusu origins and this T-shirt displays the evolution of the drawing of the Kukuxumusu blue bulls from right back in 1989 all the way up to 2015.

The bulls on the T-shirt display the evolution of the Kukuxumusu drawing over the past 26 years of Sanfermin sketching. The trendy selfies featured in a big way this year in Sanfermin. They were to be seen just about everywhere at all hours of the day and night being taken by just about everyone. And if you risk your very life to take one, even better. Here we have proof of that, where the guy wants to get his “selfie” with a sea of people behind him, rather than catch the Txistularis flute-players playing.
Group Selfies, Individual ones, pulling funny faces, touching up the Kukuxumusu blue bull… they all count when it comes to winning a Kukuxumusu “Sanselfie” T-shirt. The trend for taking selfies is just about everywhere, and even more so during Sanfermin, where cell phones, mobiles and cameras have appeared in all sorts of places at all sorts of hours, immortalizing the best moments of the fiestas.
The “Sanselfie” competition was declared open on the 6th of June and it has had quite a good response with more than 50 selfies having been submitted so far. Mr. Testis featured in quite a few of these, and it seems lots of people like to touch the blue bull on its most private parts, as if they were pure gold or maybe for good luck… and of course, he was charmed by it all.

The famed Sanfermin party scene is so well known that it has even reached the ears of the plastic beings and Buddy-roo did not give it a second thought; she came straight to the Sanfermin fiesta, all ready to have a wild time.
The doll was out on the town just like everyone else, as she didn’t want to miss a thing. She watched The Running of the Bulls every day, waving to the runners from her balcony, and she even got close to the bulls at the morning event. Of course, she just had to dress up in the typical Sanfermin gear, most of the time she was wearing the special Kukuxumusu Sanfermin 2013 T-shirt.

Not even Mr. Testis could resist her charms, but if the truth be known, the blue bull is pretty easy to seduce. There was definitely an immediate rapport between the two although the doll is reluctant to admit it. Proof of that is in this photo, in which Buddy-roo allows herself to be warmly wrapped in the arms of Mr. Testis in quite a long and tight squeeze.

It was such a wild party that the doll couldn’t even remember her own name over the last few days of the fiestas. Buddy-roo had a great time over the whole 9 days of Sanfermin. Furthermore, she not only had a hell of a time, but she also made some great new friends and of course, the mother and father of a hangover, from which we don’t quite know if she has recovered yet.

This is not the first time a doll come to enjoy Sanfermin. Mole-doll also had a great time in fiestas. Mole-doll también se lo pasó en grande en las fiestas.

This evening at 19:00 p.m. Mr. Testis and his pack of fighting Bulls will once again have the kiddies rolling at the Kiddies Running of the Bulls. The Kukuxumusu Blue Bull will come out of the pen alongside his fighting bullmates at the Kukuxumusu Store at no. 19 Mercaderes Street and they will run as far as the fencing located at their other store at no. 76 Estafeta Street.
Kukuxumusu has been giving the kiddies a chance to learn how to run a bullrunning for some years now as they enjoy themselves running with some big, cuddly, stuffed blue Bulls. There will, of course, be a homily sung to the saint and there will be bull-minders there and a rocket will go off. But above all, there will be lots of mini-runners ready to have a hell of a good time.
With just a month to go to the start of fiesta in my beloved Pamplona, I’m happier than a badger at mating time. I thought the “Part One” done for last month was really just a piece of frivolous frivolity, but I’ve had some lovely comments so thank you very much. They are much appreciated, but as I always say, it only encourages me…
This year the award for Foreigner of the year, – the Guiri Del Año – fell to the French eye surgeon, Jean Louis Dounne. Mr. Testis and Mikel Urmeneta handed over the award on Kukuxumusu Guiri Day, the day when the annual celebration is help during Sanfermin.Lots of previous winners also attended the event this year.
Today, the third consecutive kiddies running of the bulls took place with the Kukuxumusu blue bulls. Mister Testis and his bullmates left the “pens” located at the Kukuxumusu-Sanfermin.com store in Mercaderes Street and and they covered the course along with the kiddies and their parents to up as far as the Kukuxumusu store in Estafeta Street.
There were no mishaps nor any gorings, but the kiddies had a great time of it and they really enjoyed emulating the adults.
