In spite of the fact that the running of the bulls today was straight-forward and none of the runners suffered a goring, one young man who found himself in the bullring arena almost got a serious goring for a rash and silly action. He went towards one of the black bulls to touch it and the animal charged him down. Luckily, one of the “dobladores” with his cape was close at hand and managed to distract and take the bull away with his cape.
The young man got away uninjured, although he is likely to be fined by the authorities for his rashness, because one of the edicts issued by City Hall expressedly forbids hailing or attracting the attention of the bull in any way.
