To the ground by grabbing the bull horn

One of the rulings of the Pamplona running of the bulls expressly forbids hailing or touching the bull at any time inside the course. Basically, because it is dangerous to do so in the sense that the animal might turn back and so create a potentially dangerous situation for the runners. Today, one of the runners has suffered the consequences of a rash action when he grasped the horns of the bulls and was carried along some meters before being knocked flat to the ground with a heavy blow. He needed to get the help of some other runners to avoid being trampled on by the onrushing bell-oxen, as can be seen in this sequence of photos from our photographer, José Luis de Andrés
