From what we have gathered from the web page sanferminmarathon.com and from an article in the local newspaper, Diario de Navarra from JJ. Imbuluzqueta, in June, 2014 Pamplona will hold a marathon race under the name of San Fermín. It will be an evening run with distances of 42.1K, 21K and 10 Kilometers and it will have the Pamplona Bullring as its epicenter.
The organization behind this initiative is DN Running (Diario de Navarra) and the specialized sports firm, Deporbox. The precise date will be known soon and the event also has the backing of the Casa de Misericordia (The charity organization behind the Bullfights) as well as that of Pamplona City Hall and some sponsorship will come from entities such as Caja Rural, The Navarra Regional Government, Volkswagen and Reyno Gourmet.
