Although it seems that this runner is just about to happily wave to someone, he was on the point of being gored by the horn of one of the black Valdefresno bulls. Just a few inches prevented this runner from receiving a goring which would have been the first one of Sanfermin 2013, but fortunately, the runner sidestepped just in time.
