The Pamplona runner who was gored in the running of the bulls on the 12th of July and admitted to the Intensive Care unit for more than a week has now been finally removed to the Ward. His condition is favorable, although he is still recovering from two thorax drainages.
In addition, this morning, the American runner, E.S.P., from Texas (U.S.A.), aged 66, was discharged from the Hospital de Navarra, where he had been kept since he was injured in the running of the bulls on the 10th of July, when he suffered severe thorax traumatism with hemoneum-thorax.
Two runners continue confined to ward in The Hospital Virgen del Camino:
-J.M.G., from Calahorra (La Rioja), aged 56, who suffered a goring to his neck. This runner, who had been in the ICU, was moved the day before yesterday to ward. His condition is favorable and he is expected to be discharged over the next few days.
-A.I.P.L. aged 51, from Pamplona, who was gored to his upper forearm on the 12th of July at the City Hall stretch. His condition is favorable.
