Fast running
Untitled-1.GIF (41 bytes) None gored but two seriously injured

Recorrido del EncierroPEDRO y VERONICA GUTIERREZ bulls, from San Pelayo de Guareña (Salamanca). First time this livestock runs in the Pamplona encierro.

Less runners than in previous days. No one was injured.

Fast and clean running. At the bottom of Santo Domingo, some of the bulls were threateningly showing their heads without charging. One of them began to run from left to right, and charged a couple of times. From then on, this bull ran the encierro alone.

From the Town Hall, the bulls didnt pay so much attention to the runners.

In Estafeta the herd split into several groups, which gave the runners extra space for performing nice runnings.

Last running of this year.

Report on the injured.

Two people, seriously injured, taken to hospital.

Ernesto Gutiérrez Iparragirre, Pamplona, 27 y.o., operated on several breaks in his left side. Grave.

Paul. G., Detroit (U.S.A), 50 y.o., hip brake,  grave.

Runners wounded in previous days are improving their health condition:

Hospital de Navarra: Juan Carlos Ardila Pellizari, Matthew Reden, Nelson Douglas and José Gabriel Ichaso Gazpio.

Hospital Virgen del Camino: Igor Alvarez Martín y Roberto Mercero Igoa.

The banderillero Pedro Mariscal (wounded in yesterday bull-fight) asked to be taken to a Hospital of Sevilla. He is improving his health condition.
