The Victorino Martin bull-ranch, on their second visit to Pamplona, starred in the final running of the bulls of Sanfermin 2006. It was a very fast run (2:20 sec) and quite spectacular. None of the runners received a goring, although there were seven runners tossed and others who suffered contusions from trip-ups and falls. One of the bulls took an early lead on the others half way up the slope in Santo Domingo and ran the remainder of the course on its own. This leading bull tossed up a runner in Mercaderes and threw him violently against the fencing at the bend. Yet another day when the runners...
