Only trip-ups with the Alcurrucén bulls
|
|
Bulls from the Caceres bull-ranch of Alcurrucén, on only their third visit ever to Pamplona, were the protagonists in a very fast (2:18 sec) and clean running of the bulls. Only one runner needed medical attention, suffering multi-contusions in the Estafeta stretch. As each day passes there is a noticeable drop in the number of runners participating and this means there is more space for the runners in front of the bulls. However, this year the very fast pace of the bull-breeds also means that there are lots of trip-ups and falls over the length of the course; just as has occurred today again....
