Hundreds of people came out in support of the PETA organization (Persons for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and demonstrated today, the 5th of July, in the streets of the old quarter of Pamplona, against the celebration of bullfights and running of the bulls.
In a holiday atmosphere, and with hundreds of citizens of Pamplona as witnesses to the event, the followers of PETA covered some of the same streets of the old quarter of the city which also serve as the course for the Sanfermin running of the bulls.
