The fifth Sanfermin running of the bulls, with Miura bulls from the Seville ranch, has been the fastest run so far this year, 2:22secs. and also one of the cleanest thanks to the gallant Miura bulls. Only one runner received a goring.
The pack stayed in a compact bunch all along the stretch of Santo Domingo and near the end of the stretch the bulls passed out the bell-oxen, allowing the runners to get in front of the horns and to do some spectacular running. A couple of bulls slipped up...

Time for a change? - 11th July 2004 The weekend has been so busy that the streets of Pamplona have begun to disappear under a deluge of broken glass, plastic, newspaper, stale food and urine. It is no different on the course of the encierro which runs directly through the party zone.
