A quiet send-off
The eighth and final running of the bulls of the 2004 Sanfermin fiestas, with bulls from the Juan Pedro Domecq breeder, was a fast clean run (2:35 sec.) and very similar to yesterday’s one. Only one person received a stab from the horns of the bull and three runners were also taken away for hospital treatment.

Fiesta!  If the first run of Fiesta is about getting back on the horse, then the last run is about getting off it safely. No runner wants to go through 7 good or safe runs only to get into a mess on the 8th. The good clean run this morning was welcomed.
