The third running of the bulls of Sanfermin 2003, with bulls from the Juan Pedro Domecq breed, was the fastest of this year’s runs; 2.min. 30 sec. and it ended up with five injuried, with various traumatisms. There have been no injuries caused by gorings.

The third running of the bulls of this year’s fiestas took place at a very fast pace from the moment the bulls left the pen and entered Santo Domingo street. The pack was lead by a black bull from the first and half way up the stretch it separated from the others and ran ahead alone until it entered Mercaderes where another black bull running behind caught up with it.

At the end of the Mercaderes stretch, at the corner leading into Estafeta street, three bulls slipped up and fell to the ground, but without causing any particularly dangerous moments. Once in Estafeta street the two black bulls, who had moved ahead of the others, continued to run ahead without making any charges or getting distracted and some fine running could be appreciated in front of the horns along the length of this stretch.
