SAN FERMIN 2000 in NUMBERS
RUBBISH:
From
the 6th to the 14th of July a total amount of
954.740 kilos of rubbish were collected in Pamplona, 15% more than last
year. 465.560 kilos were collected from the streets, 295.320 from the containers
that are spread all over the city and 193.960 from the glass containers. Only
the 6th of July, after the txupinazo, 32 tons were collected from
Plaza del Ayuntamiento and Plaza del Castillo.
ARRESTED
PEOPLE:
During
the Sanfermin festivals of this year 103 people were arrested, 53 by the state
police and 50 by the city police, due basically to robberies, aggressions,
damages, injuries, frauds, drug trafficking, sexual aggressions, crimes against
the traffic security.
The police confiscate 80.000 doses of narcotics: 74.650 doses of Hash, 4.210 of Speed, 900 of Cocaine, 11 of Ecstasy, 8 of LSD and 28 of Marijuana.
REPORTS:
The
police received 775 reports, 577 of them from citizens of the spanish state and
the rest from foreigners. The 85% of the reports were presented due to
robberies of wallets, bags and other type of objects.
