Mister Testis and the kids, the stars of the bullrunning event

11/07/2011. Hundreds of kids took part in the running of the bulls organized by Kukuxumusu for the young ones

Three bulls from the bull-ranch of Mister Testis and hundreds of kids were the stars of this afternoon's running of the bulls organized by Kukuxumusu in Estafeta Street.

At 6.30 p.m. the three blue bulls came out of the "bullpens" located at the KukuxumusuKosmos store amid the jubilation of the crowd of kids, eager to imitate their elders. The bulls proved to be very gallant and they did not injury anyone and the emergency services set up at the event did not need to treat anyone.

This special running of the bulls contained all the ingredients of the morning eight o'clock one. The homily to the saint was sung three times asking for his protection and, of course, the rocket was let off to announce the start of the running of the bulls. Gonzalo Domínguez de Bidaurreta, one of the founder-members of Kukuxumusu, Juanjo Martínez Gilabert, from Pamplona and an active supporter of the idea of a kids running of the bulls, and the kid, Adrián Leceta were the three people responsible for lighting the serpentine fireworks rockets.

After the rocket went off the bulls chased the kids, accompanied by the "pastores", or "minders" with their rods and dressed up in a special uniform designed for the occasion.

The kids running of the bulls took place all along Estafeta Street and it finished at No. 76, in front of the Kukuxumusu store, where the kids then had their photos taken alongside the blue bulls.
