A young woman of 36 is seriously injured at the Navarrería Fountain

The least festive event of the whole day was the result of a slip at the Navarrería Fountain. A young woman was rushed off to the Hospital de Navarra where she was admitted with severe cranial injuries. In spite of the fact that the accident has been published as the result of jumping off the fountain, the truth is that it occured because the person slipped as she was attempting to climb up the fountain with the aim of jumping off. Sergio Sanmartín and Jordi Cohen, two photographers from Sanfermin.com, both saw the accident at 12.30 p.m. and they relate that it was quite shocking due to the trmendous fall she suffered.
