Sanfermin weekend in New Orleans

12/07/2010. Mr.Testis escaped for a few minutes from Pamplona to attend the Sanfermin fiestas in New Orleans

The New Orleans Sanfermin fiestas were supported by thousands of people and the main event, yet another year, was the "running of the bulls". At 8.o'clock in the morning, yesterday, nearly eight thousand people ran in front of the skating group, Big Easy Rollers. Mr. Testis did not want to miss this curious event and style of partying so he slipped out of Pamplona to go over there and join in on the different activities going on. He even inaugurated the run. For example, unlike the Pamplona running, which finishes in a bullring, the New Orleans running ends at a disco party where this year, Javier Gutierez and Acoustic Swiftness performed.

As a novelty for this 2010 edition, the organization tried to create a procession with a figure of San Fermin with his pedestal and everything. Another of the events that stand out in this curious NOLA BULLS 2010 festival was the "The Pants Fiesta" and "Death in the Afternoon" which are the names for a couple of different party activities.
