But he could not have a triumphal shoulder-high exit from the ring because one of the bulls, "Corchero" jabbed him and ripped up his scrotum bag, which prevented him from finishing off his bull. Today a decision will be taken to see if he can fight again tomorrow or whether his wound will prevent him from being able to do so. .

The rest of yesterday afternoon's bullfighting was quite entertaining. The Peña clubs returned to the stands of the sunny side of the ring after the boycott of the previous day and they were in good form. The spectators were witnesses to good quality bulls and acceptable bullfighters. The Victoriano del Río bulls had a successful debut in the bullring and it would seem that they have ensured an invitation for next year.
