With the death of Daniel
Jimeno in
2009 still fresh in the memory, Sanfermin to some extent, returned to its more
ordinary state of affairs, to some very fast running of the bulls and at the
same time, relatively predictable outcomes (summary). And in the knowledge that, at least,
this year, everyone who took part in the runnings will still be around next year
to repeat the experience, as, at least this year, nobody left their life along
the length of the course. This year, it may be said that only the Jandilla, that
fatal bull breed that is always kept for the 14th, skipped the predictable and
caused some panic in their run.
