Confined to ward is the 66 year-old American from Texas (USA), E.S.P. This runner was injured in the running of the bulls on the 10th of July when he suffered severe thorax traumatism with hemoneum-thorax. His progress is satisfactory. He has been taken off the drip and shows good oral tolerance. His progress is favorable.
In addition, in The Hospital Virgen del Camino, there are two runners in ward:
- J.M.G., from Calahorra (La Rioja), a 56 year-old runner who received a goring to his throat. This patient had been in ICU, but was removed to the ward the day before yesterday. His progress is favorable and he is expected to be discharged over the following days.
- A.I.P.L., a 51 year-old from Pamplona who suffered a goring to his upper forearm in the running of the 12th of July. His progress is favorable.
