Five people have been admitted to the Navarra Public Health Service Hospitals after the second running of the bulls of this year`s Sanfermines, one of them with a jab from the horn of a bull to his thigh and the other four are suffering from bruising and traumatisms.
The doctor in charge of the l Hospital Virgen del Camino, Begoña Goldaracena Tanco, has stated that the following peopel have been moved to the Hospital de Navarra:
-J.P.L., aged 23, from Madrid, with a scalp injury.
-A.G.H., aged 37, from Amorebieta, suffering from a rib traumatism and a blow to his arm.
-J.Z.Z., aged 21, from Bilbao, with grazing to his ankle.
The following people were treated at The Hospital Virgen del Camino :
-E.I.P., aged 31, from Bilbao, with a wound in the thigh from the horn of a bull and contusion.
-J.M.I.S., aged 45, from Pamplona, with polycontusion and a wound to his ankle.
In addition, three of the five patients treated yesterday after the first running of the bulls remain in hospital. they are as follows:
-J.P., male of 20 years, from California, who suffered que encephallic skull traumatism, is under observation in the ward. His progress is favorable and he is likely to be discharged later today.
-B.K., Male of 26 years from Korea. he is suffering from an encephallic skull traumatism and is under observation in the ward. His progress is favorable.
-J.E.A., male of 37 years from Lekunberri (Navarra). He is suffering from thoratic traumatism with hemoneumothorax from multiple rib fractures, fissure of the spleen and surrounding abdominal bruising. He remains in Intensive Care Unit, with favorable progress. His outlook is grave.
