This event is celebrated on the 6th at 8.00 pm in the chapel of Sanfermin, inside the church of San Lorenzo, at the entrance to the Calle Mayor

This is the end of the route of the Riau Riau, the destiny of the city councilors after taking part in the slow walk that separates City Hall from this church. The complete name of this event is "Visperas Cantadas (Eve song) which indicates that it is a religious act which is sung and celebrated on the evening before the day of St. Fermin.

The liturgical celebration usually lasts about 45 minutes and many people attend this event. The church holds about 2,000 people. The city councilors are all dressed in formal clothes and if you feel any devotion for the saint then it is worth attending or even if you like music the quality of the playing and singing here is first class.

Traditionally the musical interpretation has been done by the Capilla de Musica de la Catedral de Santa Maria de Pamplona (The choir from the cathedral) and the Santa Cecilia Orquesta as well as the sopranos from the Escolanía de Loyola. Recently, two other musical entities have been incorporated to this event - the Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra and the Coral de Cámera de Pamplona. The repertoire from other years has included themes from Mariano Garcia, Fernando Remacha, other anonymous pieces and some of Juan Sebastian Bach. The municipal entourage is usually received by Cantemos Omnes Domino from Giacomo Carisssimi.
