As usually occurs in these cases, memories of Sanfermin encouraged a group of Navarra workers abroad to have their own Sanfermin party. This group were all working in Shanghai for one reason or another, and in 2005 they founded the first Sanfermin Peña in China. They gave it a name which refers both to here as well as there - The Kiliki Mandarin.
They celebrate a dinner on the 7th of July, with a Sanfermin ambience. Everyone dressed in white, of course, and the club hand out some red neck-scarves and sashes. They have their own web page and their official tee shirt has been designed by Kukuxumusu. Any profits that they make are given over to a NGO project, which finances schooling for people without the means to stay at school.
