Nuisance

They have been making a nuisance of themselves for the past five years and they are already preparing the sixth and even further ahead...

A group of about 100 people have come together "to make a nuisance of themselves" in whatever way they can. The date can change but last year it occurred on the 8th of July. They all collected to have a lunch together, to have some drinks, to have some dinner, to have some drinks...to have a good time together...to have some drinks...to hit the streets...to have a bit of a "bullfight" session. They all dress up the same way and the show can change depending on what is going on. In spite of appearances, drinking is not exclusive to this group, but rather a characteristic common to the Sanfermin fiestas. The group is by no means a closed one and anybody can join in on this particular street spree.

One of the highlights is the fun "bullfight" which they organize in the Plaza de Castillo. It has all the key elements; a bull, a bullfighter, a "picador" on horseback...And it is all accompanied by good humour and good music. As a novelty, they awarded their first NUISANCE prizes this 2007 to some sports figures. Yet another new rite which hopes to become a permanent fixture and which is worth taking note of.

In 2008 these people got on a double-decker bus as if they had just won some kind of prize. They soon had a scene going around Pamplona to the rhythm of DJ Javitron and they were to be heard quite a bit. Every day, they stir up more trouble and make more of a nuisance of themselves.
