“Guiri Day” becomes “Guiri del año” and in its first edition, the award goes to the Puerto Rican, Carmen Alicea

WIn 2004 Kukuxumusu brought the "pile-up" to their tee shirt of the fiestas. It showed a chaotic pile-up at the entrance to "The Human Ring" where six ferocious runners, with their teeth savagely bared, charge the frightened bulls.

In addition, The Drawing Factory created a second special tee shirt where they paid homage to all the entourage of the Giants and their set. The King and Queen, "Josemiguelerico" or "Laranchala", the Cabezudos, Abuela or Alcalde, and the kilikis Caravinagre or Berrugas, all found together for the first time on a tee shirt. Besides, two special enormous tee shirts were specially made of this same model for two of The Giants to wear when they had a special dance together while out on parade.
Other novelties for the Sanfermin collection this year from the Drawing Factory included underwear such as boxers, panties, and tangas.

Finally, Kukuxumusu once more organized a "Guiri´s Day" (Foreigner's Day) where some of the foreign visitors came together during the Sanfermin fiestas. A special award, "Guiri del año"(Foreigner of the year) was inaugurated this present Sanfermin 2004 and presented to the "foreigner of the year" and it went to a Puerto Rican girl, Carmen Alicea, who has been residing in Australia for many years and who has been a regular visitor during the last successive nine years to the Sanfermin fiestas.

And the culmination of this year's 2004 Sanfermin fiestas was found in the official poster of the fiestas, as this poster was created by Mikel Urmeneta, the creative director from Kukuxumusu with the help of Marta Coronado another colleague from the Drawing Factory.
