Sanfermin, beach, surfing and partying for runners and bulls in Sanfermin, was the Kukuxumusu offer for 1999.

When it seemed that there was nothing new under the sun, Kukuxumusu came up with a bright idea. This time it was with the intention of resolving one of the classic dilemmas of many people from Pamplona: "Should I stay here for the Sanfermines and mess up my liver or should I escape to the beach to relax for the duration? Kukuxumusu's inspiration came up with a compromise and created the "Surfermin" - a rather bizarre running of the bulls taking place among the waves. There would no longer be any excuses or doubts. It was possible to enjoy the beach and the fiestas. There were some who complained that the runners were flashing their private parts but nobody complained about the bulls swinging their parts !

That same year Kukuxumusu pulled "Sanferbull" out of the hat, a rather idiosyncratic saint who tried to give the bulls a help-out in the bull-fights. Other tee shirts also went down well with the public such as "Mogollón" and "Estampida", this latter one having been made in collaboration with the Colombian artist, Leo Espinosa.
