In 1990 Mikel Urmeneta won the Sanfermin International Poster Competition organized by the City Hall and open to entries from home and abroad ( it wasn't a fix !). When the City hall were about to publish the poster, Mikel made the proposal that they should include his telephone no. (in small print) as a means of self- promotion.

The City Hall committee accepted the idea, but when the 12,000 prints had been made, the Mayor took umbrage at the idea of the telephone no. being printed and he ordered the whole set to be thrown away to the garbage dump. A new edition was printed. Kukuxumusu asked permission to stamp the poster on their tee shirts and the City Hall refused to allow it. So, Mikel promptly made a very similar drawing in his singular style and that was that: problem solved. The City Hall was not too pleased to say the least.

Already, at that time, the Kukuxumusu bulls were already appearing in their characteristic blue color and were already walking on two legs and swinging their private parts about.
