Homage paid to The Giants and their entourage by Kukuxumusu

The Asian King and the American Queen danced together, each with a giant-sized tee shirt specially made by The Drawing Factory

Yesterday, the 8th of July, Kukuxumusu paid a special tribute to the figures of The Giants and their entourage when two of these giant figures were dressed in special large-size tee shirts, specially made by the Kukuxumusu brand for the occasion. A large crowd gathered outside the Kukuxumusu shop at the corner of Estafeta Street and attended the homage with great interest, especially the many young children present. The two Giants chosen to wear the tee shirts, which were more than two meters long and two meters wide, were the Asian King and the American Queen who danced together as they wore the tee shirts. Kukuxumusu brought out a special tee shirt drawing made of the Giants and their figures for this year's fiestas as a tribute to these traditional figures of the Sanfermines.

The drawing shows all the members of the entourage with their appropriate names, from the Giants down to the Cabezudos, Kilikis and Zaldikos. In company with the members responsible for the Giant figures, there was quite a large presence from Kukuxumusu, headed by two of the founder-members, Mikel Urmeneta and Koldo Aiestarán. The event lasted some 20 minutes and after the dance and the appropriate exchange of protocol, the royal retinue continued on its way to its next destination to loud applause from the crowd.
