The Golden Banner award

This is one of the newest awards that get handed out during Sanfermin fiestas, but the qualities looked for may make it one of the longest runners as time passes.

It is awarded by the Peña Anaitasuna club on member's day, just before Sanfermin fiestas take off. It pays recognition to some person or entity that has stood out over the year in Navarra society.

The award is a plaque which holds an engraving of the banner used by the club during the previous year's Sanfermin fiestas. In the case of Osinaga, in addition it can be appreciated that he appears as a member in the first photos of Sanfermin of 1949. In 2009, Euskal Kerria Irratia was the award-winner.
