Night shows

From ten o'clock in the evening until six o'clock in the morning there are various open-air musical shows

The City Hall organizes various musical shows in its program alongside other privately-organized shows. Most of these begin at midnight. There are open-air dancing venues at 00.00 in the Plaza de la Cruz and in the Parque de Antoniutti. There are also brass bands which leave the City Hall square at midnight and which go to different spots around the town. In the Plaza del Castillo at midnight there is a show which features a pop or rock group such as Carlinhos Brown or some other equally known bands.

There are different styles of music to be found at various points around the town. In the Plaza de los Fueros local groups tend to play where the live music is particularly appreciated from about 00.30. At the same time in the Plaza de Compañia there are Jazz concerts in a characteristic atmosphere.

The privately sponsored shows vary from year to year. Usually, in the Jito Alai there are rap or other alternative music concerts. In 2008, the platform, Gora Iruñea, tried to back different cultural events from an initiative of offering the people alternative music but due to disagreements with City Hall this did not prosper as expected. For many years now the club natación and the premises of Nafarroa Oinez hold their particular dancing events during the nights, creating their own particular ambience, within the fiestas.
