Now the time is getting close. We are all anticipating the start of the celebrations. We have waited a long time for this and soon people from around the world will gather for the opening ceremony and all the drama that follows it - right through to the conclusion.
Whatever you may think, we Spaniards do it the best. Sure, you may bring your Americans, English, French and Italians, but truly you know that this celebration is ours and you will always be in our shadow.
So, as the celebration approaches you should know that when the party hits the streets it will be the Spaniards who sing and dance the most, because it will be Spain that wins the Mundial and lifts the World Cup.
