Some months ago I met Mickey Hanning, also known as the "The Godfather", in the Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I had heard about Mickey through our web sanfermin.com. He had managed to organize a special running of the bulls in his town with the help of his wife and some friends back in 2007.
In 2008, the event was repeated with a large attendance of public and last year the fiesta really took off with thousands of people partying it up and dancing, eating, drinking and, of course, running... a Running of the Bulls in New Orleans. This year there will be some surprises, because the "Godfather" is now from the family...the Kukuxumusu family.
