The first of January has arrived with a loud moo. This will not be one of the lean years; on the contrary, it calls for strong cows, even if later on we only serve as cannon fodder. The system has put us up against the wall, thanks to financial greed. There is nothing for it but to work hard and show how resilient we all are.
Nor is there time to worry about the end of the world. We only want to get through the year at least as far as the Sanfermin fiestas so that we can all take a few drinks together. After that, "que sera, será, what will be, will be."
For the moment, January has come in with a bang. I guess we'll be meeting up in the gymnasium working out.
