2010 Bull Trophy shared between Fuente Ymbro and Victoriano del Río

14/07/2010. The Carriquiri 2010 Trophy goes to the bull, "Tramposo" from Fuente Ymbro bull-ranch, fourth bull of the 9th of July and fought by Antonio Ferrera

 

The La Casa de Misericordia Institution last night agreed to bestow the 2010 Bull Award in a shared form between the two bull-ranches -Fuente Ymbro and Victoriano del Río. The Fuente Ymbro bulls were fought on the 9th of July by the matadors, Antonio Ferrera, Oliva Soto and Rubén Pinar and the Victoriano del Río Cortés bulls were fought on the 12th of July by the three bullfighters Curro Díaz, El Juli and Alejandro Talavante.

At the same time, the institution came to an agreement to award the best individual bull award - the Trofeo Carriquiri 2010 - to the bull numbered 150 by the name of "Tramposo", one of the Fuente Ymbro bull-breed. This bull was fought in the afternoon of the 9th of July where it was the fourth bull of the afternoon and fought by the matador, Antonio Ferrera. The Jury Board who conceded the awards was made up of Vicente Zabala de la Serna, Ignacio Alvarez Vara "Barquerito", Antonio Purroy Unanua, Mariano Pascal Lizarraga, Carlos Polite Gomollón, Vincent Bourg "Zocato", Emilio García San Miguel and Paco Romera Ciriano.
