Sanfermin blazes with the Kukuxumusu video musical Project

24/06/2008. Sanfermin.TV premieres “The Kantatzo of the Party”, five video clips for singing, dancing, sweating, howling and generally enjoying yourself during the fiestas

Sanfermin will indeed blaze if the people take one of the songs literally from "The Kantatzo of the Party", the musical project that Kukuxumusu and Sanfermin.TV have created for these coming fiestas. Along with the groups Líneas Albiés, Gualitxo, Rajoy Division and Blu Kapon (with their inseparable Ebolabeats) the company Warner Music and The Factory of Ideas and Drawings have created a CD with five songs and five videos that will have everyone singing, howling, dancing, sweating and enjoying themselves all through the fiestas.

All the themes have been premiered on Sanfermin.tv where you can now watch them and also download the video clips to Ipods. In addition, a mini-CD has been edited with an exclusive cover design from Kukuxumusu and this will be available at all official Kukuxumusu stores for shoppers who spend anything over 50 euros.

The songs and their corresponding video clips have found their inspiration in Sanfermin, although each one has its own characteristics, even if all of them have the wild partying as the main theme. Blu Kapon lets it be known that they are not convinced by Sanfermin and that they prefer to get back to The Bronx with their New York rap number, "Mikel, fuck off". Gualitxo, on the other hand really gets the party swinging with guests like San Fermin or Mr. Testis with "el beso de la pulga" (´kiss of the flea´).

The other two groups have recorded their clips in Iruñea/Pamplona. Rajoy Division pour out their hearts with "Recuerdo de Sanfermin" (‘Sanfermin memories') while Líneas Albiés want to set a blaze to everything with "Arde Sanfermin", a theme which has two versions - one slightly censored and the other not so much.

With this project, Kukuxumusu makes its contribution to the whole musical scene of Sanfermin with five themes composed and interpreted by groups with different styles, so that everyone can find something that they like. The final objective is for everyone to enjoy themselves and that the music in Sanfermin can widen its horizons. And of course, that Sanfermin.TV can come up with original and creative content for its fans.
