The Kukuxumusu program for Sanfermin 2008 covers a wide range of things.
The Drawing Factory has launched "The Kantatzo of the Party" - a CD made in collaboration with Warner which contains five songs and their corresponding video clips performed by diverse groups with different styles.
For the 7th of July, Kukuxumusu has prepared along with the chef, Jose Andres, a special recipe of Kalimotxo (which has been given the name - kulumutxu) which can be sampled for free by the general public at 1.00 p.m. at the Nuevo Casino Principal in the Plaza del Castillo.
The Sanfermin.TV web site also offers some new innovations. This year it is holding the 1st Sanfermin.TV International Video Competition with a cash prize of 4,000 euros for the video that best reflects the Sanfermin fiestas. The TV of Sanfermin.com will offer the running of the bulls live each day, thanks to an agreement reached with Cuatro TV channel. In addition it will provide continued coverage of the 24 hours of each day on the street scenes and partying going on in Iruñea-Pamplona. It will close each day with a rather peculiar and special information program presented by "Fermin Bello" a character interpreted by Imanol Reta.
To top it all off, their special tee shirt of the year, "The bull also rises" shows the dual soul of the Sanfermin fiestas. On the one hand, a pretty wild and frenetic running of the bulls - the best-known event of the fiestas, where people from many different countries, both men and women, take part and which depicts the real danger and the over-crowding of this event. And on the other hand, the rear side of the tee shirt portrays the day-time Sanfermin, the Sanfermin of the Giants and their Entourage, the Pena clubs, the kilikis, that part of the fiestas which means so much to the local people and which many foreign visitors hardly know anything about and which Kukuxumusu also wants to divulge to everyone.
