"Enciero is stuffed with foolish heroes, everybody is prepared to die."

23/12/2009. This is the first line from a song about the bullrun by German metal group Free Key bit Chess included on their album "Kiss my Ass".

The German independent band Free Key bit Chess have played in Munich and Germany since 1995. They are big over there and their sound has made a name for itself on the international heavy metal scene (bitchess sound). They define themselves as Bavarian Bastards and tour all over the world. In 2007, they signed up with the independent record company Bad land Records and brought out their first non-self-produced, studio album, "Kiss my Ass". Track number seven of the album, "Blood Stays in Pamplona (listen)", is all about the Pamplona bulllrun. The song was written by the group's vocalist Stephan Hoff -Steiff-, and says:

Music: F.K.B.C. Words: Stephan Hoff

Enciero is stuffed with foolish heroes
Everybody is prepared to die
Tourists come to enjoy the dying
Draw a number, this grave is full

Time will be right
The pain is waiting
Don't mind watching your ass

Bone for bone you will pay
That's why your blood is here to stay

Time is right for you to die
But you're standing next in line

Stage is set, it's time to boogie
Death-fiesta is one step ahead
Your only hope is pain will be less
Horns will hit you and then it's dark

Time is right for you to die
'cause you're standing next in line

Scream in pain but nobody's listening
Better start to count your bones

Time is now for you to fear
His revenge
Your death is near

Your blood stays in Pamplona – bring yourself like a lamb to the slaughter
Your blood stays in Pamplona – party for you, your wife and your daughter

You are down and out, is it even cool?
Try to smile and play the fool
I hope it hurts, give all your best
Before the bull lays you down to rest

For you last call
Dial consecration hall
Before your blood decorates the wall

Now you're drowned in a pool of blood
Surprise - all those guts are yours

Time was right for you to die
But you where standing next in line

Chorus
