Four runners continue in hospital

18/07/2011. All four are in a stable condition despite their serious injuries and their lives are not in danger

It is now four days since the last running of the bulls took place of Sanfermin 2011 but there are still some runners in hospital injured on different days of the bullrunning. Three of the four are residents in Navarra and the fourth is from the South of France and they are all still recovering from their injuries.

The injured runners still in hospital are as follows:

X.I., from Urruña (French Basque country), admitted to hospital on the 14th suffering from a whiplash injury, which occurred in Santo Domingo and he is in a serious condition.

J.I.R, from Pamplona, admitted on the 14th, suffering from bruising to the thorax after an accident in Estafeta Street. His condition is good.

J.G.R., from Artica (Pamplona), admitted on the 13th after suffering a facture to his tibia plateau on his left foot. The accident happened in Santo Domingo and his condition is stable

M.S.S., from Pamplona, admitted on the 12th after suffering a goring to his thorax as well as fractures to his ribs and bruising to his lungs, liver and thighs. His condition is stable.
