"With tact", by Miguel Ángel Antoñanzas, is the 2008 Sanfermin poster

07/05/2008. With 3.300 votes, 52% of the total votes, his has been the most voted by the public who participated in this first-time popular voting system.

Miguel Ángel Antoñanzas received the congratulations for his poster by way of a video-conference as he is now living in Atlanta, in The United States. It was there that he came up with the idea of creating "With Tact" the winning entry chosen by the voters with fifty-two percent of the votes in this first time ever system of allowing the public to chose the winning entry from five finalists.

"With tact" gets its name in reference to the subtle suggestion of contact made between the runner and the bull. To achieve the final result, Antoñanzas worked with more than twenty different outlines and he finally decided on the running of the bulls and for the red, black and white colours. The fact that he knew there would be a popular vote from the public inclined him to use a classic image and he seems to have been right in his choice.

Miguel Ángel Antoñanzas is a 42 year-old man from Sangüesa in Navarra and this has been his second attempt at entering for the competition. He is a journalist by profession and he works for CNN as a TV reporter. He has been known for his interest in cinema and his work on short movies as well as being a talented photographer.
