A group of fans of the bullrun and the San Fermin fiesta want to bring back the old-fashioned children's bullruns with real animals. There is wide popular support, but the institutions remain silent on the matter.

The theatre director Alfredo Sanzol has premiered, with great success, the play "Sí, pero no lo soy" (Yes, but I'm not). With this production of the Centro Dramático Nacional, the critics say that he has managed to bring us "one of the most entertaining moments of recent years.". The play is a stage representation of a Navarrese San-Fermin addict who finds himself on a luxury cruise on the eve of the 7th of July.

We have been told that at the round table on the running of the bulls, someone proposed the idea of screening images of particularly horrifying gorings from previous runnings, to make potential runners think twice before taking part.

We are told by Hemingway55@ that there is an international firm who wishes to shoot the running of the bulls these coming Sanfermines with sufficient technology so as to later put it together in three dimensions. The aim is to create a potentially world-wide documentary with a budget that is as big as what the City Hall spends on the whole fiestas. The project has the go-ahead from the city hall and the project is also counting on the collaboration of several Navarra producer companies.

Mikel Urmeneta says in his blog (La Comunidad de El País) of the that Pamplona City Hall is having conversations with the NY City Hall about having a running of the bulls in The Big Apple this coming summer.
