SAN JUAN

All year round it is an area with a lot of atmosphere, even though it is somewhat away from the center of town where most of the scene takes place. The “pub-style” bars tend to dominate although there are also some places with some home-grown rock. There are a wide variety of bars on offer.

This suburb (only a 10-minute-walk from the old part, don't worry) is a busy all through the year. You will find lots of what we call "pubs" (not exactly English or Irish pubs) and two discos (at the beginning of the Travesía Bayona street –it changes the name very frecuently- and at the end –called Marengo-). Most of the people go to the Travesía Bayona, also called “La Trave”.

Between the old part and San Juan there is a tall building, the tallest in Pamplona, Edificio Singular where you can stop at two nice places: Plural, and No Problem.
